The director of Caritas diocesan Agrigento, Valerio Landri, announces that, up to a date to be allocated, in compliance with the provisions of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers contained in the #IORESTOACASA Decree of 10 March 2020, in order to counter the spread of the COVID epidemic -19, the Diocesan Listening Center in vicolo Lauricella, wishing to guarantee urgent, essential and indifferent services, while safeguarding the health of operators and beneficiaries, will follow the following service methods: The Listening Center can only be accessed by telephone booking. Anyone who needs to make a support request must first contact 0922.20455 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (from 10 to 12) and Tuesday and Thursday (from 16 to 18). The operator, having assessed the urgency and indifference of the request, will make an appointment for the beneficiary, indicating a reception time slot. All deferable and non-urgent requests will be postponed until after the expiration of the prohibitions.
The ordinary days / times of reception are therefore resumed (MON-WED-FRIDAY from 10 to 12 and MAR-THUR from 16 to 18), but only by telephone reservation. Beneficiaries booked for the same time slot can wait for their turn in the spaces outside the Listening Center, keeping the safety distance from each other; they will enter one at a time, following the arrival shift. Within the Listening Center, compliance with health requirements will be requested: keep a distance of at least 1 m, avoid physical contacts (handshakes, hugs, kisses), use a mask and gloves, use the necessary precautions in case of coughing or sneezing. Access will not be allowed to people in evident flu or not wearing masks and gloves.
Receipts for payments already made will not be delivered on paper, but will only be sent by e-mail to those directly concerned. Needless to introduce yourself to request it. “We are aware – says Valerio Landri – of how much the aforementioned measures force us to severely limit our service and, above all, to change our style of reception and listening, but we believe that they are necessary to safeguard the collective interest in health . We hope that very soon – with everyone’s commitment – we can return to normal “. For information: 0922/20455 or 3662627594
